Looks like you have figured out the routine and are following it okay. Up and going for coffee in the lobby at 9:00 AM. Someone drained the pot today....fess up if it were you. No punishment...just "NO Coffee For You!" ....took that from Seinfeld's Soup Nazi. What a great show that is! We watch all the reruns over and over and over.
Sandy lines us up at the curb to start our walking trek for today. Up and down the roadways we go. "Just Keep On Walking....Just Keep On Walking". That came from Finding Nemo. Loved that movie...a lot! Half way through this mega stroll, Sandy discovered she didn't have her Fitbit on. Rats! No credit for her miles walked without it. Rats. As we (me)breath a sigh of relief once back at our RV, Sandy & Sam continue on for more laps. My knees tell me it's time to stop. Eventually, they'll improve and I'll be prancing and high-stepping it way ahead of them all. Just watch guys, I'm coming through. Soon...very soon.
Upon their return, Sam suggested we hit a couple thrift stores so he could find a hacksaw. Okay, we're game. First, he drove us to
Lulu loved the Salvation Army
She liked the sign placed next to her the Salvation Army. It's a good one but no hacksaw. Lulu liked it as you can see.
Lunchtime. Where shall we eat? There are too much choices. Hem & Haw and we decided on Five Guys. Good. But wait, right now we are across from a WaWa. Cory & I have eaten there and really liked their sandwiches. Sam said he had never eaten at gas station but he was wiling to give it a try. They are got BLT's and I got a Tuna Melt. Cory and I got ours on a roll. Sam & Sandy got theirs on bread. Not good...the bread left much to be desired. I think the only thing that Sam & Sandy will get at WaWa's in the future is gas. Lulu liked it all but that's her...she likes anything and anyone. What a sweetie.
We continued down the pike and stoped at the big Thrift store next to the Rock Church on I-92. Lulu loved the character displays out front. She wasted no time posing for pictures. I wish some "others" would be that eager and enthusiastic....sometimes I have to just get down on my sore knees and beg! The cluttered
Going to WaWa
Good food & gas shop had something like what Sam wanted but it wasn't complete. Sandy told him to stop buying junk. Cory and Sam went to a hardware store in this same plaza but still, no luck. Sam returned to Tropical Palms sawless. So sad.
Time to walk again.....okay. We hadn't walked far when we ran into friends. So nice to see everyone and visit awhile. At home, all we see are birds when and if we walk. Cory walks....I've just keep myself still and rested. Convinced myself I didn't want to over due anything. Since being here, that sure has changed. My legs are in shock. They are numb from all this movement. Lulu gave up after the first hike. Her head rolling was just to harsh on her skin and hair. I told her not to worry.....she has a heavy head but no one has called her a fathead....yet. She was satisfied with that comment. Bless her! She so wants to be with us every minute. But it's good for her to rest. She's not getting any younger.
As we walked, we met up with more and more friends. Took a bit longer to get the journey done but
it was more fun to see everyone. Plus, it allowed me a little rest period which my legs appreciated.
Supposed to rain a lot tomorrow so Cory has everything batten down. Rainy days=movie day.....unless the rains are torrential and you can't drive in them. When it rains down here-IT RAINS! You can't see one inch ahead of you. It's terrible. So, MAYBE, we'll go to the theater.....maybe not. But we'll let you know. I have my refillable popcorn container so don't worry, there will be lots of it for everyone. Lulu won't go so that means there will be tons of popcorn. She's the one that pigs it down and all you can do is lick the sides of the container. I already told you she can be a bit selfish at times and this is one of those times.
Get your rain umbrella ready. You'll going to need it no matter what. Not sure if we walk in the rain or just walk a million times up and down inside the RV. A day of rest wouldn't be bad but Sergeant Sandy says we'll walk all around a mall if it comes to that. That really doesn't
sound too bad. I might just like that. What about you?
