At The Ale House
Yippee - the long awaited winter months have past and some of our family have been able to shovel themselves free, jump on a plane and land here today in sunny Orlando. What a joy to see them all. This family group consists of our oldest daughter, Lory, her husband, Jay, their daughter, Sara and son, Alan. Al's close girlfriend, Brittany, who is like family, is here .... as well as Ashlynn, Sara's good friend. Ryan, their other son, is back at home as he has to go back to college shortly. Hail, Hail, Most of the Gang is All Here! Lory, Jay, Sara & Ashlynn are staying at Mystic Dunes - a large condo complex off 192, not far from us. They will stay there until Friday when they can get into our timeshare, Cypress Harbour (near Sea World). Al & Brittany are staying at the Flamingo Resort near the Florida Turnpike....on 192 but further away. They will be going into our condo in Friday, also. Our other family, the Fabers, are arriving on Saturday to go into their own condo at Cypress Harbour.

The Knapps landed at the Sanford Airport around 1:30 PM. After getting settled into their

hotels, everyone showed up at our RV later in the afternoon. Such excitement seeing all of them. They hadn't eaten for a long time so we jumped into two cars and sailed merrily down the road to the Ale House (our winter ritual restaurant with Sam & Sandy). Lobster was the favorite for Al, Brittany and me. The rest selected other tasty morsels.

Following dinner together, we all drove to the Knapp's condo at Mystic Dunes.....very, very nice. Then, onto Tropical Palms. Sara & Ashlynn were eager to check out Old Town & FunSpot. Jay located his relative, Fred Francisco, over in his cottage here at Tropical Palms (remember I have already told you the "small world" story about Fred (Jay's second cousin) was staying here at TP for a month and how we just happened upon one another.) Al & Brittany were exhausted....no sleep for Al because he worked until 3:00 AM and just 2 hours sleep for Brittany. Cory, Jay & Fred escorted Al & Brittany back to their place because they got off track trying to find our park. Much quicker following Cory's route. You would think he lived all his life down here. He knows

all the routes and the shortcuts....need a driver? Call Mr. Cory Car Service. The rest of the family hung in as long as they could but the Sandman was too busy throwing Florida sand in their eyes. Good night, family. We are so happy you are here safe and sound. Hope all the rest of you are having a good night, also. ? Be sure and stay tuned....the festive family fun is just beginning.
