Last week we took a road trip to Colorado. I don't want to call it a vacation as it was more an escape from reality. We spent a week in the Rocky Mountains and Steamboat Springs social distancing at 7,000'. Gondolas

You can take a gondola ride up to the top of Mt Werner...it will start you at 6,900' and drop you off at Thunderhead Lodge (elev 9,000') where you can hike, bike, ski (when there is snow) take in the views, and have a meal or a drink before descending down the mountain. Fabulous day!

You start at 6,900' and the gondola takes you to 9,000'. During the summer you can hike the many trails that wind through the mountain. Otherwise I hear its some pretty incredible skiing.
