There’s nothing quite like Disney for the quality and fun it delivers, and the last few days have not disappointed. We even managed a side trip to Knott’s Berry Farm but finished off the Disney days with the light show Fantasmic - a fitting end to a great time! Highlights have included:

- The Cars ride - Disney quality and class at its best - a combination of interactive animation and the thrill of a car chase
- the Incredicoaster - fun, fast and upside down
- Soarin’ Around the World - for a virtual trip over some of the world’s great landmarks
- Big Thunder - voted family favourite ride for everyone’s pure enjoyment.

Our day at Knott’s was a welcome break from the queues of Disney, with us all enjoying the pony ride and jaguar (Beeb under sufferance). Grandpa enjoyed 8 rides on Coast Rider with Beeb, while the rest of us relished a trip on the old fashioned fun of the Ghost Rider. Geoff and Dawn had a great 22 seconds on the Accelerator!

A highlight for all of us was yesterday’s breakfast with Mickey - with some great character visits - Rafiki and Eeyore were particular favourites.

Today we transferred to LAX for our departure tomorrow, spending the afternoon in the suburbs at the Wildlife Learning Centre where we had a private tour to visit some of the residents - an Eagle Owl, some porcupines (which we got to feed...SO cute), a serval, an armadillo and Sid the Sloth, who was just too lazy to wake up, despite the food in his mouth.

One more sleep and we’re on our way!! But not before we (Eloise) go crazy at Universal tomorrow with Harry Potter...not sure it knows what’s coming!
