Monday morning: I wrote our blog last night, but due to very slow Internet, it would not post. I am adding this little segment so the following makes sense. Oh yes, guess who has the fever this morning; me!

I am writing this Sunday evening, which means we have been gone an entire month already. The time is really going fast! Mike still didn’t feel the best yesterday, so we had a very low key day. It was raining all day anyway, so no fun to be outdoors in such weather. I made chicken wild rice soup for lunch & after lunch, we put $24 in clothes washer & dryers! We went to the grocery store after laundry was done for a few supplies. We went to bed early because he felt lousy & we had to get up at 4 AM this morning to meet our boat captain to go salmon fishing. They believe in starting early here on these boat charters; 6:30 AM. It rained off & on most of the day & our new rain suits were put to good use! We had so much fun catching salmon, even though Mike is not feeling 100% yet. We caught 15 salmon. Our captain took us to great fishing holes, one of which was probably an hour by boat. We saw puffins in the water as well as sea otters & someone else on the boat said they saw a whale, but we didn’t see it. We had fresh salmon on the grill tonight & we are overnight shipping 25 lbs of salmon home.
