I’ve been in Mexico for about a months and I loved every second of it! Mexico is a beautiful country, very rich and diverse. In every region, the countryside is different ; I’ve seen a very dry Mexico city an Oaxaca, green San Cristóbal and Yucatán, beaches, lakes, cenotes, mountains, volcanos.

The distances between cities are huge, a 10 hour bus ride is nothing out of the ordinary.

People here are so nice, very friendly and helpful. Rumour has it, that Mexico is dangerous, but I have never, not for one moment, felt in danger, even walking around in the evening as a woman. Of course, in Mexico city you need to be careful, but not more than in any other capital or big city.

Mexican food is absolutely delicious and they have really good drinks as well : pulque, tequila, mezcal, beer and wine.

Mexico has a very rich and diverse culture, be it Aztec and Maya culture, local healing plants, local dances, Mariachi tradition or something else.

I had the chance to meet many amazing people, be it other travellers in hostels or locals. I could without any problem have stayed here a few weeks or even months more !

Mexico is absolutely an unforgettable experience that I can only recommend you to make on your own ! :-D
