Happy New Year

Well, 2015.......where has the year gone. We have been here on Stone Island for 2 months as of the 4th of January. People ask us, "so what do you do all day?" Well, sometimes we can't even answer that as we just don't do anything, except Gerry fishes, or we read our books, go for a walk on the beach, or visit with our friends here in the RV park. Other days we go over to Barry and Sonja's and visit or grocery shop, or just walk around Mazatlan. These last two weeks Bob and Ilse have been here. It has been great being with them. We had Christmas with them at Barry's and also New Years Eve. Lots of laughing and of course some drinking and great conversations. Thanks Barry and Sonja for your hospitality and letting us spend the nights. Now it is back to normal. Gerry is finally starting to paint again. The sunsets here on the island are incredible. So that is what he is painting right now. We had our friend Matt and his friend, Jodie come down for a week. They were staying at the Rio Hotel, which is the furthest hotel from us. But we made it work and we went over and met them for a day and then they came here to the island for the day. It was great to see Matt and meet his friend, Jodie. I miss all my family and friends back home, but honestly I don't miss the cold weather. We still have until the end of February here on the island, so I will be sending more pictures next month.

This is a party my friends in the RV park put on for my 65th birthday. It was at a restaurant on the island. 20 people showed up.
