The City of London is closed today! No transit, no schools.........no nothing! Apparently, this is a "first" in over 30 years.........lucky me! So, Kate, you were asking just how much snow did we get........ Ok, I know that not everyone is interested in this particular entry, but it was the easiest way to send these pictures for you (family and friends) to see. This is what I woke up to today! And just think.........a week ago I was in Iceland and the ground was clear! So, it's definitely time to find the box that has my winter boots in it (I just moved into this house before going on the world trip!). Day 1 It was a day like any other day except the flight from Glasgow to London took off late then held us in holding pattern just to make sure we were sweating over the time to check in for the next flight. Thankfully we made it but our luggage it turns out did not (now currently reported MIA somewhere in Heathrow). The flight went fairly well until someone ordered a James Bond cocktail and the pilot had to shake us around for two solid hours, but we are here safe and sound but may have to wear the same pants for a few days (and we don't mean in the american sense) however this doesnt phase kenny. ... read more

TORONTO - PART 1! Sorry for the prolonged update. Is gonna be quite a big post, will try to update more often! I will put up some pics too, shortly... Well I can honestly say I am having a fantastic time in Toronto! Its a wonderful city and I settled to it very quickly. I am staying in a hostel called Canadiana Backpackers, which is very nice and great fun. They serve pancakes with maple syrup for breakfast every morning, which was good at first but the novelty wore off quickly...my plan is to fly to Quebec on December 9th, then head to Montreal before Ottawa for Christmas.
