Day 5, Florence/Venice

Florence to Venice started out pretty average, because it was a relatively short drive we had until midday to explore. My one mission: boots. Mission complete (despite the pouring rain, thunder and lightening). Other than that the day was pretty much a four and a half hour drive/80% sleeping (have become pro at sleeping and avoiding travel sickness), hotel check in and dinner. I was ecstatic when we found out the hotel had a lift. Tip: travel with a backpack, bags are a pain in the arse, not to mention you almost dislocate your shoulder pulling them up stairs.
