Just to let you know Glasgow didn’t blow my mind, compared to the rest of Scotland i thought it was shit. I got to Glasgow yesterday around 1pm, I made my way to the hostel and dropped of my bags and set out to see some of the city. I walked down the main street and saw some less than average break dancers busking for money and then made my way to the park by the river and relaxed for a couple of hours. I went to back to the hostel which is massive by the way but quite nice, I stayed in a 4 bed room dorm with ensuite which was very nice. I sat around and spoke to the people in my room and then decided to have an early night as I had to be up, ready at the bus station by 8:30am as that was when my bus to London left which is where the secret journey begins 😜.
All my family and friends still believe I’m returning home just before Christmas, really it I will get home on the 28th August and on the 29th of August Steph is having her masquerade ball which I am
Slaves!!??
This is how kids are transported around Glasgow. going to attend…secretly. The only person that knows what is going on is Terry (Steph’s mum), she is kindly picking me up from the airport as well. Only thing is the same day I fly in my family is flying out which means I will get to surprise them at the airport! 😄. Annoyingly as my family is away Steph and Ben are house sitting my house, so the first night “home” I won’t even be able to stay in my own bed! I’m going to have to let Ben in on what is happening (closer to when I return so he doesn’t slip up) so that he can arrange for my suit that I will need for the ball as well as hopefully I can stay with his family for the night.
Now as I said it’s all secret travelling from here on; that means whenever I call people from home I will have to lie about where I am and what I’m doing. I already have ideas of things that I can say. I’d be pretty stupid if I hadn’t thought this through! I know that ill be able to pull it off and I believe the results
are going to be amazing!
At the moment I’m on the bus from Glasgow to London and man oh man it’s a long commute, as I said it left at 8:30am and I won’t arrive in London until 6:30pm . I’m going to stay in London for a few days and then I fly to Vancouver, Canada and I’ll be staying with Justin for a couple of weeks. Then to Brisbane to see Michael and Aunty Robin for a couple of days, and then home. I’m really excited about the coming weeks! 1. I get to go home 😊, 2. I’m going to Canada and 3. I get to see some family I haven’t seen in ages (Michael and Aunty Robyn)!
Well, wish me luck with everything, well you won’t be able to as won’t be posting any blogs till I get home otherwise it would ruin the surprise WOULDN’T IT…I told you I was on top of it.
