Happy New Year and welcome to a nice start of 2008. Over the last few days, Leslie and Tiffany spent their
first visit to London. As you can expect, for me it's closer to the fiftieth visit. And yes, we spoiled
ourselves properly.

Some will say, single Dad travelling with two kids, not that easy...well...challenging from time to time, but
can really be fun too, and I'm sure you will enjoy some of the pictures.

My last stay of 2007 in a hotel in Prague landed me the best suite of the hotel. For our first night of 2008,
we stay in a top-class hotel in Knightsbridge, next to Harrods, and received another massive upgrade to
a huge top-notch suite on the 14th floor with full view of Hyde Park. Leslie was truly impress!

The first morning was spent at the British Museum, a place where I haven't been for 15 years. Fun to listen
to everybody telling we should go to see their special exhibition (with massive queues) on the Terracota
Warriors of Xian. Well, we did it last September with Leslie...in Xian!

So this time it was straight to the Mummies and Ancient Egypt. Can't tell you how much Leslie enjoyed,
playing the tour guide to Tiffany...who did get scared a little!

After lunch, we made our way to the Ritz. First let me thank Faith for everything you did to make this stay
at the Ritz an amazing souvenir for three of us. Great Thanks for everything Faith!

5 and 7 years old and staying at the Ritz...it's a little like doing Christmas again 10 days after. Yes, they
did even received presents packed on the bed when we arrived... Barbies, electronic games, airplane, puzzles! The all
lot, you can't imagine Leslie...Papa...why do they give us all these presents! Enjoy my dear...it won't
happen everyday!

You had up to this the bathrobe and the slippers...fitting them perfectly, I'm sure you will enjoy the picture!

Than the following morning, you start with the english Breakfast at the Ritz...quite a ceremonial, but you
won't see pictures, as these places don't welcome cameras...as well as jeans...and ties are compulsory from
7pm...another world, but quite an enjoyable one.

If you also wonder...single dad...two kids...walking a lot all day long...you must be stuck every evening...
well...wrong again, had the opportunities of few great evenings, but that won't allow cameras either!

On our second full day, we made it to the Tower of London...as usual Leslie loved the "castle", tower bridge,
and after lunch break, little visit to the National Gallery for their first encounters with Monet...it's never
too early!

Our last full day in London brought us to Madam Tussaud. Haven't been there for years, don't remember with
which one of my ex last time...but a first with kids, and that's simply fun!

A great first visit to London for Leslie and Tiffany....the opportunity to see many friends for great evenings...
way too much shopping in Sloane Street and New Bond Street...well, a great beginning for 2008!

I'm writting all this from Peisey in the Alps...this is the next entry...you'll have to wait few days, as we are
here for a full week...
