Since I didn't have as far to walk today and was under no time constraints, I had a leisurely morning. I took my time getting ready and having breakfast. There were lots of interesting people staying at the hostel and it was nice to chat to them. I was gutted to find that my boots hadn't dried out overnight. Oh well, another day of wet feet for me! I made up my picnic and packed up my backpack and left it out for the baggage transfer service. When planning my route, I knew that I didn't want to carry my main backpack each day, as it would just make the journey more torturous. There is little evidence of Hadrian's wall between Carlisle and Brampton. The walk follows the line of the wall and the adjacent ditch and vallum define the path which follows the Eden River for several kilometers leaving Carlisle and then passes through some very beautiful countryside. Hey guys :) Here is the final blog for the 6 month adventure I have just finished. For those of you who may not know what I've done, I have just been to Perth, Australia to do a DTS (Discipleship Training School) with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). January to the end of March I lived at the YWAM Perth base and was taught about God, each week covering a different topic including hearing God's voice, the nature and character of God and the Father heart of God. During this time I lived in community with people from a variety of different nations and backgrounds; eating together, working together, cleaning together, learning together, worshiping God together, supporting each other and loving life together.
