22/09/16 – donderdag - dag 19 Kressbronn Grijs en fris. Verwarming moet op. Zo warm mogelijk aangekleed. D.w.z. Alles aangedaan wat we bij hadden om 's middags met een beetje zon te vertrekken voor fietstocht van 80 km. Eerst tot Meersburg, waar we de ferry namen naar Konstanz. Dan de grens over en langs de Zwitserse kant van het meer tot Romanshorn waar we terug met de ferry de Bodensee oversteken tot Friedrichshafen en zo terug fietsten naar Kressbronn.... read more

Our last day in Austria and what do we do. Go over the border into Switzerland. We just drive the small roads and if it strikes us we turn up a really small road and head up hill. That was the case today. We ended up in a large restaurant complex called Egg Wald. 100's of people eating and drinking and enjoying the day. There were lots of people from buses which we do not know how they could have gotten there. Later we drove down to the Bodensee AKA The Lake Constance. To look at the ferry crossing from Switzerland to Germany. This evening we went out and had a Cordon Bleu. We split it. It was SO large we could hardly finish it. Tomorrow we leave Austria for the SE of Switzerland (The Engadin) ... read more

Ah, well.. Today --> Rain, rain rain. But however, we decided to take the ferry over to Switzerland - Romanshorn, but bad weather, a sunday, closed stores, cannot be anything else than what it was haha :) No well, But I think it would be very different if it was a beautiful friday evening, but well, now it wasn't. We didn't see a single person on the streets, and the only shop which were open was a supermarket, so I bought some Swiss choklate! And then we took the ferry back again. Back in the hotel we decided to take a walk in the rain, so we went to a tiny forest/park. But what made me really happy this day was the fact that Friedrichshafen Airport is just a few kilometers away and the airplanes fly ... read more
