need some advice on routes.

im landing with a friend in zurich on the 25th of august.
we have a friends house in zurich to stay in, but basically we want to do some trekking in the area.
we want ideas of good places to go trek in.

it depends what you mean with trekking.
You could go on to the Uetliberg which is the kind house mountain of Zurich. You can walk up there or take a train. It's not a high mountain and easy to do, but you've got a nice view over Zurich and its lake.
Near Zurich there are not a lot of mountains.
