Salou

Took a long bike ride along the coast road. Probably about 4kms each way. Long way for Nathan to ride…..and Trish. The bike path is great though; very flat, well marked and clear of pedestrians. The view out to the Med. is great as well.
The weather is still good. Coolish breeze but still ok to sit in the sun by the pool and watch Trevor and Nathan on the water slides.

An Extreme triathlon was being held in Salou today. Trevor got up early (just before 7) and saw some of them do the swim leg. We had lunch about 2.30 and saw the runners coming back in. (5km swim, 180km bike ride and then 40km run!!!!!). While we were having lunch, we heard the Australian National Anthem being played on the TV. Trevor jumped up to see what it was all about. Apparently Casey Stoner had won some car race here in Catalonia. Not many Aussies in this part of the world, I don’t think
