Burgos 1Burgos 1Burgos 1

we "cheated" a little by taking the bus thru a boring industrial area after 31.5 km and a very bad leg and baking sun - but this was the view when we left the bus
ENGLISH:
Hello fans
on camino to Leon, we found an Internet-cafe with the right connections and we decided to do our "job" here in the morning, so we have time for sightseeing in Leon instead of searching for the right Internet-cafe. My leg is much better now after treatment with Ibuprofen Gel and tablets. The day after we could walk 27 km and the day after 32.5 km in baking sun both days. Now we know better. Our friend Kaj from Denmark came with the right diagnosis by e-mail "lower leg´s frontbone inflammation" (direct digital translation...) We checked it by NetDoctor over the internet and it seems to be the right diagnosis. We take it more easy now with only 20 km a day.
As earlier mentioned, so do we mmet a lot of interesting pilgrims from all over the world, of which we will mention the 2 danish ladies Lone and Lissi from Copenhagen - Lone had a problem with her knee - she also has been treated with Ibuprofen Gel and got handed out some tablets - they had lot of time, as they would meet 2 other girls from Denmark next weekend in Leon. We met Hertha from
Burgos - 2Burgos - 2Burgos - 2

next day, a closer look at the impressing cathedral, where we took the following inside photographs (thanks to the Canon's 1600ASA)
Austria (72 years!) who has been falling in the shower, had pain in the ribs and broken the one toe, we helped a little to speak with the auberge in order to manage transport back to Burgos - the Camino was over for her...
We met some Japanese who where covered by clothing all over - even with white gloves to protect against the sun and another Japanese who was carrying two rucksacks and his wife was tripping in a distance behind him with very small steps. We heard about an Austrian, who carried 24 silkshirts (according to Hertha, he could´nt wear anything else...) in a rucksack of 27 kg. 2 american girls who had to wash their feets in vinegar and salt...
And not to forget: the californian family (Helga, Tara and Ty) who saved my camino by helping me (and later others) by introducing Ibuprofen... But more together with the attached pictures...

DANSK:
Kaere fans,
Som tidligere naevt saa moeder vi mange dejlige pilgrimmer fra hele verden;
