Day 11 15/4/12 Logrona - Navarette 23km (tense room)

Well Pep saw us before we left in the morning. He stayed in the same place different room.....We all went and had a coffee for breakfast. The weather was cool with a light rain....enough to put on our rain coats. Still have my sore throat which feels like it might develope into a cold......dont want it.....

Met Ole in the bar where we had lunch.....He is walking with his sister-in-law....they are doing their own walk and meet at the end of the day...his beard is growing.

Parted with Pep after lunch...possibly wont see him again he will get to far ahead of us......but have thought that the last two times we have said seeya.

Found a great place to sleep. A private albergue.....5 bunks in one room.....feels like we are in someone's private home....paid the owner 5 eur and she washed my clothes and hung them on a drier..... Dont think I have had anyone wash my clothes before for years....I know I paid her but felt a bit strange.

One of the walkers Nicole from Holland went out and bought some tuna and salad and strawberries and wine and made lunch and invited us all to eat with her. It was a lovely night eating around a table having a fresh meal without bread or pastry. One of the other guys was a 22 yr old med student from Montana. Had a great chat to him about our medical system which he seemed quite impressed with compared totheir system....He was young and full of idea's.....hope he doesn't get caught up in the system and change......Also Florence from Holland......she was a nurse

Settled into bed by 9.30.....just drifting of to sleep felt someone by my bed...opened my eyes and the owner was checking that we were all in bed and accounted for......felt like saying ...goodnight dad...
