Gaudi's Casa Battlo on Passeig de Gracia.
I started not feeling well today. I hope i'm not getting sick. But at least if I do, we are at the end of our trip. But I still hope I don't -- nothing worse than a long flight when you're sick. Anyway...

This morning we got up, checked out and went for a "traditional" breakfust of Spain: Chocolate con Churros. It was really good. We got some Churros (no sugar on them or anything) and a small cup of thick hot chocolate-like liquid. We dipped our churros in and it was delicious! We need breakfust like that at home :D

We then went to Passeig de Gracia, which is a street that has some Modernist buildings. We saw two by Gaudi -- La Pedrera and Casa Battlo. They were both cool, but I liked Casa Battlo better. He has some really awesome buildings 😊

We went to the train station to head for Madrid but the train we wanted was full, so we had to wait 3 hours. Blech. We got some tasty lunch (bacon y queso sandwhiches) and played cards.

The train was neat -- it had TV's and mini tables (like on airplanes) but

it was hot and Adam and I weren't next to each other (the aisle was inbetween us). It was a long ride as well -- almost 5 hours, and for a high-speed train! I was happy to get off and it was the last train ride of the trip!!

So we are at our final stop, Madrid, for the next two days, and then it's a long flight home. Tomorrow I think we are going to try and see some Gardens and maybe find a "nicer" hotel to stay at (but we'll see, we are cheap!).
