Friday was sunny and gorgeous. Perfect weather for checking out Spain's Costa Brava (the wild coast). After our delicious breakfast in a cozy setting at our hotel, we drove down to Sa Tuna and parked. We tried to walk to Aiguafrada. I'm not sure if we got there or not. But every beach is gorgeous, and there is walkway built between them. Around noon we went back to our hotel and up to the castle. We also went to the town of Pals this day, and to more gorgeous beaches in the Begur area. Sorry I can't name them all - you can't go wrong on a beach in this area! Welcome to the (end of) November edition of the Slapper in its new and improved format! This month we travel to the sunny European country of Spain where yours truly was guiding Scotty Gardiner around the hallowed turf of not one, but two, of the most famous courses in the L'Estartit area (1.5 hours North of Barcelona). The advice I gave him on club selection, wind direction, ground moisture content, humidity, green speed, grass texture and pollen count proved invaluable as he unfortunately missed the cut by 2 and set sail for the Aussie Open and warmer climes!
