We have been meaning to go on a decent trip for ages now. Last year some very cheap prices came up on bestflights, so we decided to take the plunge. After this it became all about saving as much money as possible. Working a lot, and spending stuff all (apart from the occasional necessary bike part or gadget). We are looking forwards to five months away, spending two weeks in Thailand, and the rest of the time split between Europe and North America. We haven't planned much - just hoping to see lots of great sites, and eat a pile of tasty food. Oh, there'll probably be a lot of food photos... full info

Facade. Love the "block" style figures. Also note the cryptogram in which many different combinations of the numbers add up to 33 (the age of Jesus when he was nailed to a tree).

Stunning stained glass work, where the colours are symbolic rather than the standard pics of saints and stuff. The different windows use different colours to reflect the journey through life and other things. Well worth getting the audio guide to understand it all.

Columns like trees

Massive columns which branch as they rise and look like a forest of white limbed trees. Beautiful.

Stunning central dome with a golden triangle created by using different tiles and allowing for natural light to enter.

Organs reflecting light

One of the organs reflecting the colours off of the pipes. The whole place is so well thought out for colour and lighting.

Note the different instruments being used on either side - reflecting traditional and more contemporary music.

Devil Fish!

Here we see the devil in the guise of a fish (with hands) tempting man to act violently by offering him a large bomb. There was one on the opposite wall of the same evil fish offering a bag of cash to a woman.
