Backlog of Europe: Barcelona

I’m backlogging some of my previous travels in Europe from when I was in high school and college. They won’t contain much information as it was a while ago, but I would be more than happy to share my experiences with anyone who has a question.

Wow. Barcelona is simply crazy. I spent a few days visiting a friend here; I didn’t go to bed before sunrise and didn’t get up until after 2:00 pm. It is a city that goes all-night and amazing. Loved the architecture; Gaudy is amazing. Just a great place to wander around and enjoy.

I quit my cushy job in health care software in January of 2008 and hit the road with my younger brother Darren (the one on the left of the photo). We had plane tickets to South East Asia and not much of a plan beyond that. It turned into one of the best years of my life. And, as a result of this blog, I convinced many of my friends to leave their uninspiring jobs and travel as well! I am now finishing medical school in the United States and starting residency shortly.
