Arriving back at our hot, dark hotel room to discover the electricity to the hotel had been cut.

Gorgeous little laneways everywhere. This was an impromptu stroll out of the tourist area to experience a local area and take us out of our comfort zones.

Our first Barcelona supermarket experience. This was also accompanied with a fresh produce market visit for a DIY lunch. With smiles firmly fixed, zero spanish and much pointing, we purchased fresh fruit, jamon, cheese and bread for a fabulous lunch.
