Day 31 : Sunday 6 October 2019 : San Candido to Lake Bled

We’re sad to leave this beautiful countryside but it’s time to make our way to Lake Bled, Slovenia. Had our own carriage in the train, felt like Harry Potter.

This is the first time we’ve had to take a taxi (€18) from the train to our accommodation, but it was easier and so much quicker. Accommodation wasn't as great as some of the amazing places we have stayed, still clean and neat.

Took a walk into town and around the Lake to the Castle Bled. Lovely castle (€11 pp). Stunning views. Nice place.

Bought some pasta and had dinner in.

Walked 9kms or 15000 steps and 47 floors. CC €23 Cash €368 (inc €350 cash to accomm)
