What a long, strange trip its been. For the past three weeks I've basically been travelling non-stop. It all started with my trip to Ireland. We came back for a day and a half only to leave for Haarlem (NL) on Wednesday night. From Haarlem we drove to Amsterdam and then flew to Prague. From Prague I took an overnight train to Italy where I spent two days in Venice, then Florence, and finally Easter in Rome. I'm here! It took me a couple of days to get internet access. But now I'm up and running. The flight actually wasn't bad at all. I was really nervous but I took some valium (washed it down with a milkshake and some fries from McDonalds for an added American touch) and I was pretty chill through the whole flight. I was even able to get up and go to the bathroom. That's a huge step for me. Usually I'm too terrified to even look around on the plane. We got in around 8am on Saturday. Jet lag is rough.
