Days 10 and 11 Hill Towns: Spello, Trevi, and Montefalco We took the morning train to Spello on Thursday, which is about 15 minutes south of Assisi, planning to spend the morning in Spello and the afternoon in Trevi, Trevi was only mentioned briefly in one guide book, but looked interesting from the train the day before. Spello is the only hill town easily accessible from the train. It was very pretty, with the usual churches, Roman works imbedded in new buildings, and views across the valley. As we looked down a side street, we saw two nuns carrying a suitcase between them, and Bill said to quickly get a photo.
