St. Tropez was a not all I had thought it would be. Got a few good pictures but for the most part they have no beach near town and the water was filled with jelly fish. And not just a few but hundreds. So much for the St. Tropez tan!! Kyle laid out in the rocky inlet that they call a beach and I hiked to the top of the highest hill where there was a fortification with two moats and a great view down into the town. Later we had nice crepes in a cute restaurant and so on the way back to the ship we passed a homeless man and his dog and I gave him the two sandwiches I had packed away in my purse from the ship. Walked by the Chanel house and back to the ship. Sat next two a really interesting couple from Perth, Australia. We went to the comedy show tonight and it was pretty good. Kinda old jokes but there are a lot of old people on the ship.
Monte Carlo is nice and very rich. Wait hold the presses room service just came to our room and I must take a minute to eat my shrimp cocktail in my room, sitting on my bed. Ya right, I think that’s pretty cool too! Kyle went to the greenhouse spa to relax and I’m just marveling at how great this is, the sun is setting on one side of the ship and the coast of Italy is in the distant on the other. This is truly a great place to be right now. Kyle and I had a nice time in Monte Carlo. Once we arrived we got on a hop on hop off bus. There wasn’t much room and Kyle sat on the bottom of the bus and I sat on the top. Kyle hopped of at the beach spot and I went on to do the 1 hours circle. Monte Carlo is a beautiful place I felt safer than the anywhere I’m poor to them. I got off at the Monte Carlo casino them gave them my camera, passport and 10 euros. I was in! I made because we had to be ready to go in Livorno. Today I walked 15,348 steps.
It to a slot machine. Winner, winner chicken dinner was the name of the machine. I put in 20 euros and hit it!! $256 euors! Cash out time. As I was leaving I ran into Andrea and Steven, from my forum group. We hung out for a bit and decided to meet up later for dinner. I walked back down to the beach to see if I could find Kyle. I just missed him playing beach volleyball with some people from the private beach club of Monaco. I believe him! He was all sweaty still, I wish I had been there just a little early so that I could have video taped it. We walked back to the ship which was probably 80 million miles. But we got there in time to catch the tender back to the ship. That night we met Steven and Andrea for the formal night dining and the 10pm evening entertainment. Nice evening and we got back to the room early. Today I walked 15,348 steps.
