The flight was much shorter than I was expecting, only arounf 4 hours, which is nothin compared to flying yo and from New Zealand. The most exciting thing that happened was when they gave us free wine with dinner! I knew I was going to love Europe when that happened. I began reading Eat, Pray, Love (thank for the recommendation, David) and it was a perfect travel ... read more

Hey there beautiful people, yesterday (actually, almost a month ago!) not only did we gain an hour of light we also manage to tak advantage of the time change and get to the Italian National Park of GRAN SASSO (BIG o'STONE) If you'd like to know more go to Wikipedia's Gran Sasso page or the Climbing Gran Sasso page. One evening last week, Sean returned from a hard day's work (as usual) in the office writing about space and says Marcus wants to go up a mountain this weekend. I’m like sure and thinking - knowing Marcus the likelihood of him getting up before NOON that it just might not come to fruition, right? WRONG! Not only did Marcus get up early he also managed to get six of us to join him on his mission ... read more
