Eau de Cologne

We got up early and said goodbye to Amsterdam, 2 and a half hours later we were in Cologne, Germany. The change in the weather hit us, it's just like England, cold and rainy! Our hostel is above a McDonalds and is a 45 minute walk to the centre. But it is our first taste of a proper hostel. We are sharing our room with 6 others. We had a wander around our area and when we got back we got chatting to people from, Mexico, Spain, Sweden and Korea. The next day we walked to the Lindt chocolate museum which is next to the Rhine and got free chocolate and saw it all being made. Then tried to find a place that sold currywurst, it took a long time eventually we found it and though it looked weird it was really tasty. After we walked around Germany's largest cathedral. Then due to the cold we went back to the hostel early, grabbed a pretzel and sat in the common room and got chatting to some Australians and New Zealanders. Tomorrow we are going to Liege, Belgium :D
