Hello everyone, our first few days at this new placement have gone really well, the work is all outside so 4 1/2 hours each morning outdoors isnt the best working conditions but we keep busy and wear lots of layers, having lots of working clothes has been so handy as means we can layer up and doesnt matter if we get too dirty! Our first job each morning is to give the horses new water and clean their water buckets and then we help clean the stables or take the horses to the field, its very different from before. The food is amazing and theres always so much! and we have been told we are allowed to help ourselves to food whenever we like and to drinks too. we are here! have arrived in germany and checked into our hostel, the jounrey was straight forward but looong, on our final train we originally sat in wrong carriage and had a german man shouting at us until we worked out that we needed to be at complete opposite end of train. The German police got on train and done a random passport check and only checked ours and was looking at it for about 15minutes! The walk to the hostel was longer than we thought so took about 25minutes with the massive rucksacks but am quite proud of myself as managed the whole way without stopping or moaning.
