After our visit to Avignon we are on our way to Carsaconne. It is only a small town with its main attraction being the castle that sits up on the hill. We have a great view from our hotel balcony. We didn't get an official tour of the place so after dinner we walked up to the castle. Seriously, it's just like a castle from a Hollywood movie. Or Shrek even! The walk is about 5-10 minutes. Todd and I watch the sunset from outside the castle walls. We took the back way in climbing up a hill and through the back door. From the outside it looks deserted.
