We travelled from the Loire to the Dordogne area with more chateau's but also a lot of wine. It is the middle of the wine area. There are some very nice ones as well. Anyway we had a day of rain while we travelled up there. Did not matter in the car and it was getting better later in the day. We landed in a B & B what is unbelievable good. It is an old farmhouse converted into rooms with showers. The day we left Onzaine we visited the grave of Leonardo da Vinci. In Dordogne we went on a drive and visited a few of the villages build on cliff sides you wonder how they still stand after all those years. they date from the 13th and 14th century, the roofs are made out ... read more
