Outside the Senior Bazaar, where we bought them. Seniors would go bazaar over this place. Money well spent.
A-hoy!

Hey guys, we are alive and well after a week of good times and lots of snow in the captial of the Czech Republic. It was a lot colder than anticipated, so we bought some warm jackets from the local op-shop.

It´s an old city with lots of cathederals, beautiful old buildings and a castle - just walking around is almost enough to experience it. the streets were full of culture with little shops selling puppets and those dolls that you open and then there is an other smaller one inside. (there was some beautifulll artworks on them) They also like their glass objects, we saw everything from glass varses to chairs made of glass. We were also blessed with a couple of street bands, one jazz band was playing in the old town square, and a rock band who place a czech version of ´good golly miss molly´ with thick accent. The old town square was spectacular, as was the tower on Charles bridge. We also saw the prague castle, filled with many interesting swords and assorted weaponry for purchase, as well as spectular fascades.

Aside from that, we´ve met some crazy people when we went on a tour to a small ski town out in the country.. was a lot of fun, drinking, sledding and singing songs accompanied by a guitar - good times. We had some canadians, an american, a french guy, and a couple from england and wales. We ended up having a couple of guinesses with them on st. pattys day after the tour - loads of fun all round.

Also got to see some sights on the tour including a church of bones and some underwater caves, as well trying some local food courtesy of our guide who showed us the best places and the local specialities. Was a great break from the act of getting lost, and he gave out loads of info on the area.

We´ve also had our fair share of problems.. the Camera is playing up (photos are a bit fuzzy) and we had a bit of trouble going from Prague to Vienna (where we are now).. i accidently got us off at the wrong stop, and we just happened to be in the country of slovakia, and needed to take an extra two trains through the country bratislava to get to vienna... but we are here now, taking it easy.

Hope everyone is well,

Cheers

Ben and Stace

A guy dug up the bones of the people to make room for more people (everyone wanted to be close to the holy ground). so he made a chandelier.(?)
