The last week has been full of so many beautiful and very fun experiences on the "gringo trail" in the indigenous lands of the Maya in San Cristobal, Chiapas (Mexico) to Lago de Atitlan, Guatemala and now ending with Antigua, Guatemala. Amazing ride up the mountain...

...the horses were so strong, they ran up a lot of the way...so much fun!

On top of the world...

...with a view of 5 volcanoes...3 of which surround this magical lake

The weekly market in Santa Clara....

...we were the only tourists...became the main attraction for the indigenous locals, especially the little kids who couldn´t help but stare and grin at us..."Who are those weirdos and where do they come from?"

...first they all help wash the clothes, then themselves!

I look naked...

...but I'm not, just wearing a strapless suit. :)

It is so good to hear about your travels, and I'm sure you know how much Laur and I want to be there with you...eating, singing, dancing and laughing and oh, did I mention eating? :) Have a blast...was in your land last week, was in Orange County and San Diego, nice weather and gorgeous warm water (not as amazing as Baracoa waters!) Miss you, have so much fun!
