Eating at Ylang Ylang allows you to enjoy the beautiful coastline and dine on very delicious
food with a nice presentation. We walked the beach to Ylang Ylang enjoying watching the
pelicans fishing off shore from us. There was a nice breeze as we walked along which made
the walk even more pleasant.

The sand in front of Ylang Ylang looks whiter than the other sand but not sure why. There
are some volcanic rock formations out front that are beautiful with the waves crashing over
them.

The menu is quite extensive with vegan, vegetarian and fish and chicken options as well. We
decided on Sauteed shrimp with a barbeque sauce with vegetables and mashed potatoes and Fish ambrosia in an eggplant tower with vegetables and potatoes and a sauce that was delicious. Both were beautifully presented and were delicious as well. Shared the entrees so both could enjoy.

Enjoyed watching the pelicans, waves and people passing by as we ate. A group came back
down the beach from a horse back ride and some of them must have been staying there because the horses patiently waited in the trees on the beach. People that are staying at Ylang
Ylang are brought out to the place in a Land Rover and they drive part of the way through
some deep sand so the people can feel they are off on a real adventure.

After dinner decided to walk back on the beach because it was a full moon and you did not
need a flashlight to see where you were going. There is a road back off of the beach but it
seems a place where you could possibly run into someone wanting to cause problems. Of
course after saying that, we have never had any problems walking back on the road.

Came back upstairs and enjoyed the full moon from the commons area of Luna Llena as well as
a glass of wine to finish off the day. We got to see an armadillo cross the stairs and head
off to find more to eat we imagine.
