Never-ending Beauty! Brilliant to head into the cathedral and palace for your day of clouds and rain to just be surrounded by grandeur and beauty. I'm so slow and such a gawker that I had to spend a day in each of those richly detailed wonders. Lovely visit you had!
So beautiful! Glad you made it this time and Zoe was well! It's one of my favorite cities, and you've captured it beautifully--love all your photos of the little canals, too!
We were glad as well A truly beautiful place, I had about 100 canal photo's to choose from but thought I'd better not put them all on.......water overload!
Thank You Words and pictures really don't do it justice, trying to capture the colours and the vibe of the place is nearly impossible. I'm looking forward to seeing Zoe's vlog which always seems to give a better dimension to our travels..... I will include a link on the second blog.
In the jungle the mighty jungle...... I had to be careful hiding in case I found myself face to face with something fierce and scary and I'm not just talking about Jo!
A ceramic fireplace! Oh yes, in those cold Croatian winters, I'd give this fancy-dancy fireplace a space in my room in the palace! I saw these in museums and palaces in Germany and the East. Like you two, I'm a bit of a museum maven, and loved the treasures, both beautiful and bizarre, in Zagreg's lovely museums. Thanks for the great memories, and bravo to Zoe for saving the turtle!
Palaces all round You can have that one and I'll go for a wood burner ;) I find it intriguing to find furniture here that is so similar to the Georgian pieces you see in the UK, how history was shared! We also found some wedgewood pottery which comes from Hertfordshire where I went to school, unfortunately the photo's didn't come out very well.
Woolly Woolly Its me your bestest bestest fiend Sion Sheep . I wished I was there too. When I went the organ was not working and I missed the lights. I think we could have had a good time without the smelly girls playing on the lights. I could have collected your skateboard too and brought it out with me. Would our diggers work? Perhaps we could have dug the lights up with our JCB's

A truly multi-national mammoth that travels the world visiting places of interest, making new friends and causing mischief wherever he can. With my carer Jo (bless her!) I have scaled castle walls, walked in the footsteps of Roman Emperors and Maharajah's, climbed mountains, contemplated caverns, caves and canyons and attempted the Le Mans 24 hour race on a skateboard! Whether it be climbing a Minaret in Mostar, Paddling in the Arabian Sea, Scaling mountains in Kotor, Feeding chickens in France or Catching trains in India, not... full info
