Carol Coyle Thanks for the reality check!! I couldn't imagine having to stand for the assemblies (let alone having to listen to them in Spanish). You're a trooper! Oh, and I saw our friend Davis today - Anne Young and I went to visit him at his new school. He remembered us and kept giving us hugs and kisses - and he asked "where Mis Lillet?", so of course he remembers you and misses you too! He's doing so well in his new class - he's in a class of 10 kids and has a full-time TA one-on-one for the whole day. It was really great to see him happy and doing well - I really wish you could have seen him. And he gave us his traditional pinkie kiss good bye. It was priceless and heartwarming. I'll have to go back to visit him again before I go on leave! I just thought you might like to hear how he's doing...oh, and Ewan, still the same. :o) And all the girls (Milica, Ayan, Syndney, etc) keep asking how you are doing - so I've been giving them the updates too (well, the censored versions. LOL!) they said to say hi and they are planning on making cards for you - I'll send them when they're finished! Talk to you again soon!!
GRANT IT, THAT'S AN ADVANTAGE . . . More than taking advantage, I think what you're saying here is not to take your list of wonderful gifts for GRANTED. Granted is the word you seek in this instance. We're (Mom and I) working at satisfying your need for some of the items on your wish list for class and students. Godspeed, Sarah. Love now and always,

Books for kids I have asked everyone at work to check for books and a few have said they'll bring some in. Not sure what you mean that you are sending your blog now from Comayagua? Love Mom
I really enjoy reading all your Blogs. The one you just wrote reminded me so much of what it was like teaching in Japan.
Teaching where you are now and experiening all that you are will make you such a stronger person and it will all come into hand when you get into a school in North America, or if you teach where the system is more of what you are used to.
Sounds like you are having an incredible journey!!
Happy Thanksgiving It was SO nice that you called when all the family was here - what a nice surprise. Everyone was so happy to hear your voice again. We had a lovely time together but missed you lots - it just didn't seem the same with out you and Aunt Lori here (she had to work)- I think someone said something about the two gabbiest ones missing? Love you and miss you lots! MOM
CONGRATULATIONS Congratulations on becoming a certified diver, way to go!!! I envey you. There is nothing like diving in the tropics. I done it a few times and it's always great. You do get to see a lot of neat things. Enjoy yourself and try to get in as much diving as you can. You can never get too much. Talk to you later and again congrats. Love.

We just got our computer set up again after moving (such a demanding task in Baden! oy!) and I've been busy trying to catch up on all your blogs! You sound like you're having an awesome adventure (and I definitely hope your travel bug lasts long enough to come visit me in Australia). Miss ya and love ya lots!

Awesome Hi Sarah,
Sounds like you're having the time of your life. Soon you will join the ranks of the certified divers and be able to go any time you like. I am jealous. There is nothing like diving in the tropics. Do as much as you can. You will always see new things. Even though I haven't dove in a while, looking at your pictures really gives me the bug to go south and do some diving of my own. Have fun and be safe. I will talk to you later. Love you.
Uncle Wayne
Wow Amazing entry - phenomenal pics....I'm so proud of you. What a risk you took!

Good luck Awesome looking pictures. I am jealous, diving in the tropics is great. There is really nothing like it. I'm sure you will love it. I know that the first time you dive you will be nervous, but don't be. As soon as you get down into the water I'm sure the nervousness will leave you and you will just be in awe. I know it was that way for me. Again good luck with your dive course and have a great time. Love you.

I LOVE HARBOURS, TOO Certified diver. Just another accomplishment in a long list of good stuff. Well done. You continue to amaze us, Sarah. I was extremely pleased to learn about the professionalism of your dive instructions and the adeptness of your instructors. Cool, too, that they were of such an international mix. But, most of all, thanks for your care in being safe.
Now, as for spelling of a few words that continue to come up in your blogs . . . definitely is spelled 'itely' not 'ately' and realize gets a zed, not an s. See if you can appease an old copy editor, if even for a short time.
Your diary entries have been amazing. The mix of school, friends and travel has us all eagerly anticipating the next entry. The photos give you a real sense of being there. Wish I was, it's starting to get into the single digits here overnight. Fall is definitely in the air.
We love you, Sarah. Godspeed. Keep doing well. We are immensely proud of you. You're with us in our prayers, always.
Love, now and always,

Recommendation??? You want me to recommend the hotel to you? Are you planning a trip to Utila sometime soon? Ha Ha. The hotel was awesome if you want something fairly simple but nice, something close to a restaurant and something close to a beach. We didn't turn on the air conditioning so it was cheaper using just a fan. You do get a private bath though (although the top of the wall to the bathroom is open to the room, so you can hear everything anyone does in the bathroom, or have a conversation with someone in the room while you are showing). We also had a problem with ants. That seems to be a problem everywhere but here they were really big. They are just annoying on the floor.
There are nicer hotels for more money. The Mango Inn is a nice one I've heard. That's where I will most likely stay next time I'm there, as the dive shop gives free rooms there when registered in the dive courses. It also has a pool but is about a 15-20 min walk from the beach.
Hi Sarah.. sounds like you are having a great time and have really gotten 'the bug'! Would you recommend the hotel to Uncle Dave and I ;o) ?? Have fun and looking forward to hearing more about your adventures. Love ....
WAY TO GO! hey Sarah, it has been a while since I have listed a comment so I thought I would do that for you today.
I love reading your travel blog and i think your kids are sooo cute! My grade 3's are terrific ... we should swap stories soon!
Keep posting and keep well!

CHILD'S DAY Priceless. Too cute. Careful with the scuba. Your mother and I are worried sick. Your uncle Wayne, on the other hand, used to scuba dive for the Niagara Falls Fire Department. Just keep your wits about you and don't panic. And don't take risks.
Godspeed, Sarah.
All my love, as always,

Hi Hi Sarah,
I'm glad to hear that you are really enjoying yourself. If you weren't born to travel, I'm sure you will have it in your blood by the time your year is up. Sounds like you are working with a lot of good people. I sure many good friendships will come out of this experience as well. That's a good thing. I will be waiting to hear more from you. Talk to you later.
Love Uncle Wayne
Hey Sarah,
Glad your first few days were a success, we'll see how mine go next week, my classroom is still not ready not that it will ever be. I am sure your students are lovin you, whats not to love you are the best!!! HAve a fun weekend.
It started with a year teaching in Honduras. Then it was home to the COLD winter of Canada to try and pay off some debts, followed by sailing the seas with Norwegian Cruise Lines, working as a youth counsellor.
Next it was back to Honduras, teaching in a school in Tegucigalpa!
Now, I am home in Canada but continue traveling.
Thanks for joining me on my journey!
