cute room HI SARAH
YOUR NEW CLASSROOM IS LIKE A BOUQUET OF FLOWERS, JUST A WELCOMING FEELING. AND WITH SUCH A NICE TEACHER TO TEACH WITH THE CHILDREN WILL ENJOY THEIR SCHOOL YEAR.
HAVE FUN AND WAY TO GO GIRL!
Hi Hi Sarah,
You did an excellent job decorating your class room. Hope you had fun doing it. Looks like it won't be long before the actual school year gets started. I bet you can't wait. Good luck with everything and keep sending these blogs with all the pictures. I love them. Bye for now. Love.

why are you so darn cute? Your classroom is adorable. I am going in tomorrow to start setting up. I have 3 seperate classrooms so I have one wall in each class. Fun eh? Not much going on here. I can't believe we are done camp already. I can't believe school starts in a week and a half. EEK! I am glad you are having so much fun. I am jealous that I am not away somewhere again. I may need to go away again.....and soon. I'll tell Adam that it's your fault! ;) Miss you lots Sar!
SCUBA DIVING!!!!!!!!! We were chatting before, but I am still soooooooooo jealous that you are doing your scuba diving!! Are you doing a PADI course? I have my open water, and adventure diver, and it was the best thing I ever did. I was certified in the Great Barrier Reef, Australia, did 9 dives there, and then did 2 more when I was in Fiji. I WISH there was somewhere around here I could go diving, but like seriously, Lake Ontario?? What am I gonna get to see there, brown murky water and muck?? haha....sad but true.
Anyway, the bottom line is Sarah, like I said before on MSN, I am so happy for you that you are doing the diving. It is scary, I won't say it's not, but after the first time it is so freaking amazing. I had a lot of problems with my ears, it took me a lot longer to equalize than most of my group did, and so I always felt like I was holding people back, but my instructor learned this after the first dive and he always helped me do different tricks to get them to equalize. The first 5-7m was always the hardest for me, and then once I hit 10 metres or so, it was so easy to get right down to 30m.
AWESOME!!!
Have fun, can't wait to hear what you think of it!!!
Love Pamela
Hi HI Sarah,
I glad to hear that you are still having fun and really enjoying yourself. It's not hard to get the travel bug, and it never goes away. That's not a bad thing, however it does take money, lots of it. Sounds like you will be an expert on soccer by the time you come home. Keep having fun. Talk to you later. Love Uncle Wayne.
I love your last paragraph.... Sarah,
When I was reading your email and blogs before you left, you seemed pretty nervous for this whole experience. I remember writing once to just go do it and you will love it. I realize you haven't been gone for that long, only a few weeks if that, but the last paragraph of this blog entry says it all. You are content for now, will compare in a few months. In a few months, I can almost guarantee you, you will say it seems like you just got there. It will not seem like you are 1/4 or 1/3 through your entire trip, it will seem like you just arrived and are still getting familiar with everything, at the same time will seem so normal cuz you have yoru regular bar like Cheers where everyone knows your name, or knows you as gringa at least! haha, and your kids are familar and your friends are familiar....
The bottom line, themore I talk to, and hear from, and converse with friends who are doing things abroad, at the moment in Honduras, Korea, Marshall Islands, Argentina, Australia......I am so happy for everyone who is abroad and am SOOOOOOO Jealous of not being there myself!!!!
Enjoy EVERY momemnt you have there, when you are home in a years time you are going to wonder where the time went.
Have fun Sarah...
Love Pamela

teaching in honduras? Hello Sarah, my name is Landon and I am a 5th grade teacher in colorado. my girfriend and I are taking a year off to travel central and south america. During our travels I would like to visit some schools and I saw your post which made me interested about americans teaching elswhere. Maybe you could be of some help to me when we are in the area? or perhaps be willing to give me some advice. We leaving for Guatemala in a month, Sep 13th, and then will extend our trip south soon after. I have a page on travel blog if you would like to contact me. elheernt is our blog name. Thanks, Landon and Maresa.
It started with a year teaching in Honduras. Then it was home to the COLD winter of Canada to try and pay off some debts, followed by sailing the seas with Norwegian Cruise Lines, working as a youth counsellor.
Next it was back to Honduras, teaching in a school in Tegucigalpa!
Now, I am home in Canada but continue traveling.
Thanks for joining me on my journey!
