Hills & rocks & trees & rocks & hills Thursday, 2 August 2007 This morning I had a few errands to run, then Bob drove me to the Kenora Tourist Information Centre, which is at the eastern edge of the town. From there I took Silver & continued heading east towards Highway 71, which goes directly south to Sioux Narrows, Nestor Falls & on to Highway 11, at the southern edge of Ontario here. It was a lovely day, not too hot, with a bit of a breeze, from variable directions. Again the riding was pleasant, good road, good shoulders, for the most part, and traffic was not too heavy. One could see the increasingly rugged nature of the terrain, with large rock formations alternating with and intermingling with trees, lakes, and more trees. Oh, and
