Thanks so much for your generous comments. Happy to hear you are enjoying the Blog. Yes, the trip back to Mt. Rainer was so worth it. You are lucky to be able to see it often. I am jealous.

Idaho - another state I have nver been too! I can't remember if you have ever seen Glacier NP but it is amazing! Saw my first grizz there, and the biggest moose I have ever seen! I hope you can get on the Going to the Sun Highway if it i
s clear of snow. The glaciers there are disappearing fast.

Enjoy reading about your trip. Seems like a lot of work on your part, but it will be a great keepsake. My annual trips to Seattle and the Pike Place Market are over as Chris has moved to the Cambridge MA area. I remember marveling at Mt. Ra
iner, but I don't remember Mt. Baker. Safe travels!

Thanks. WIsh we had seen the pike Market. Perhaps next time.

Fantastic scenery and as usual wonderful descriptions! Did Beamer check out the snow?

Your photos brought back memories of me hiking there in 2010 after the Seattle Half Marathon. I did three days of hiking in MRNP and saw THE MOUNTAIN several times. It was always an awe-inspiring sight. I was there the very end of June,
and was amazed how much snow there was. Every hike I attempted above about 5,000 feet was snow covered, and I aborted several hikes. Eventually, I just stayed below the snow line. Art

When I was there in Seattle, almost exactly 3 years ago, to run the half marathon for Team in Training, I loved seeing a bit of the city (on foot) and the Pike Street Market. If you ever get a chance, go back. I'd love to hike in the Casc
ades before I get too old.

You made it! And I am all caught up! Vancouver is another city I would love to see. Looks like a great place.

When we visited the Market in Seattle, we bought a figurene of a bear riding a moose, was funny... Anyway gave it to Lauren's brother who really wanted it!!! Beautiful country, have fun!

Really enjoying the dialogue and photos. Look forward to tomorrow's.

Thanks. Writing this blog keeps me paying attention. I have found that enjoying a road trip is all about keeping your eyes outside the window and taking it all in.

There were probably others, but we only saw what was along I-40. I am more intrigued with the wind turbines.
