The pool side makes Vegas what it is; the party capital of the world. Now, I am not talking specifically of the bikini clad chicks that roam these waters (well, the pool side waitresses at least), its more than that; it’s a combination of things including the endless line of cocktails and the sunny blue sky with 30 degree (Celsius) temperature - something my Australian skin has yearning for far too many months. It doesn’t get much sweeter than enjoying a cocktail or three whilst lying beside the pool soaking up the summer heat of the Nevada desert… We arrived in Vegas jetlagged and exhausted from our 18 hour multi-stopover, via Auckland New Zealand and San Francisco.
