The train to Venice was actually very cool, I was expecting the train to be cramped full of tourists and locals all fighting for a seat but it was actually rather pleasant. Air conditioning, reclining seats, no screaming babies, what more could you want? As I exited the train station my first glimpse of Venice was amazing. I didn't expect to see any canals in my short walk from the train station to the bus depot, but there is was, the Grand Canal. It was just beautiful, the sun was shining, the boats and gondolas were skimming past and I was in love. I made my way across the bridge and found my bus stop, it wasn't that hard to find, about twenty red faced backpackers standing around in the heat. The shuttle bus picked us
