Once again we had a large downpour of rain in the night, thankfully our tents held up well and we could shower in the mornings to warm ourselves up. For the last day of our roadtrip we decided to head to Edmonton, in retrospect maybe we shouldn’t have. The drive was pretty tedious, just large stretches of flat highway, where no wildlife could be seen, just miles of road all the way to the horizon. We broke the tedium by doing crosswords and listening to music on my iPod. For lunch we stopped in one of those little towns that you see on horror movies, where there are yokels everywhere. Thankfully it wasn’t night, there wasn’t a storm and none of us are b-grade actors. Once in Edmonton we found a campsite and enjoyed the sun,
