Islas Malvinas / Fakland There is no typographical error, the Malvinas/Falkland Islands are a territory still unresolved within the right placement and resolution of the united nations. From 1810 to 1833 Argentina manage the islands without any international claim until the United Kingdom invaded the islands in 1833 and claimed by Argentina since then.
Welcome Home!! Thanks for all the blogging, it's been really interesting following all your adventures. Glad you're safely back home now and hope you remember to keep in touch now too even though we're in the same country (although perhaps daily updates are no longer required!)

I LOVE SEASONS PIZZA!!! Hey guys,
I've been following your blog since I returned home in February anxiously awaiting the Bhutan portion! I hope you enjoyed the Seasons pizza and the apple pie or other tempting desserts.
Hope you are having a wonderful last month and enjoying every minute. When I first returned home the transition was definitely tough, but finally after adjusting, I'm excited to be heading to Israel and Jordan at the end of the month for a two week stint (like normal people!).
A friend who returned from a year of traveling in April, decided one year wasn't enough and just left for another year of exploration.
Anyways hope your transition home is seamless. Enjoy your last few weeks and thanks for sharing all your stories and pictures!
Always,
Amy (the demi-canadian, demi-american from Boston)
Are rocks interesting? If they are and your purple rocks were bluish then they could well be blueschist a sodium based mineral formed as tectonic plates move. I believe there is much of this in Tibet.

You are in heaven in Franschoek We had the oppourtunity to visit the little town in Dec 2005 and have lunch at a Vineyard. What a beautiful place and so rich in history! Glad to see you got to stop there on your trip, and thanks for the note. Mark Osborne Fraser, Michigan USA
New readership drive underway In an attempt to make up for the loss of 1 (one) reader, I hereby promise to try and recruit 2 (two) new readers to your blog.
Keep up the good work and give Mr. Pink a small polish for me!

Ed & Gemma, who? Earplugs should be the must have accessory, it does not matter what is outside the tent, how near it is or how angry if you can not hear it.
Sleep soundly I say.
power station Hi,
When I was there in 2001, the power station wasn't in use -so it wasn't very spectacular -nice to see your pictures. I thing I remember most about the Falls apart from the beauty of it all, is the heat! I hope you enjoyed it anyway!
Response Hi,
We throughly enjoyed the boat trip, the scenery is great, especially if you are lucky enough to have good weather. We have also travelled a lot of the way by bus and are also travelling up Argentina, and the landscape would be pretty similar if we had driven this stretch the boat covers so we do not feel we missed out on any of the scenery.
It is worth the price, food is good and you are kept well informed etc.
