my beloved salamanca! i'm so happy you liked Salamanca. Too bad you couldn't fully enjoy it. Well, enjoy your last days in Madrid....and pace yourself....the Prado will take away all energy you have accumulated.

¿por que croissants? ¿por que no churros?
how come you never mention churros? that´s more espana than croissants. ¿churros con chocolate? It´s long strands, kind of tastes like waffles and you dip it into chocolate. they´re great!!!!
Segovia U-U-Uh, Segovia........... Cesar, Philip, and even Wolfrado........... El Acuaducto, El Alcazar, La Catedral............. I'm almost in tears :-) Did you see the cute little statue of the wolf and the Rome brothers that were raised by the wolf? I'm sooooooooooooo jelouse in a good way. I hope you're having a great time! I'm going to Chicago to fight this week (wed). When I come back, I will try to call u w/Alla to talk. I miss u. Chao for now.
Madrid I can't believe you think Madrid is less european the Barcelona. I actually think the exact opposite. I think the streets in Madrid are soo much smaller and more intimate. The buildings are much "heavier" in Barcelona. As far as I'm concerned, Barcelona has 3 things over Madrid: Gaudi's architecture, a beach, and a warmer climate. But even with those things I like Madrid sooo much more. F_ _ _ing crap, I miss Madrid now. Great!!!!!!!:-)
Sangra Familia I visited the Sangra Familia on my birth day last year. You see, it was kind of funny, because I was riding around in a 2 story bus (on top of course) with out a hat for about 2 hours in the scoarching heat of 120 degrees F (during that massive heat wave) and I caught a bit of a sun stroke... So as I was comming down from the very top of the tower, my phone rang and it was Amaury calling to wish me a Happy B-day. And I was already not feeling well plus the added excitement of his call, I got sooooooo dissy, I almost took a tumble down those stairs. I actually had to stop and wait for my head to stop spinning. Imagine being dissy on those stairs...They are sooo narrow and steep. I was actually a little scared.
the largest acuariam in europe... hey Maiiiiiiiinochka,
Supposedly the largest acuarium in europe is in Lisbon Portugal. I was there and that's what they said. I guess every country likes to think it has the largest family jewels (kind of like every man) hahahahaha
can hardly wait! well, enjoy Madrid and don't listen to what people say. It's beautiful. More importantly I can't wait until we're in Tenerife having fun together. horray! Alusik

walking las ramblas You know, my mom and I walked from the sea to Plaza Catalunya stopping only in the Sex Museam which is located on Las Ramblas a couple of blocks before reching Plaza Catalunya, which you must visit if you haven't yet. (Don't tell Jan that I'm sending you there hahahahahaha;-)
I'm sooo jelouse Hi Maiiiiiiiiiinochka,
Obviousely even though this comment is "anonymous" you know who it is that's writing it. Hahaha.
I'm soooooooo jelouse. I wish I could be there with you. I walked through all those places and hiked through Gaudi's park and visited his buildings too. Isn't it great!!! Gaudi's park is the most beautifull park I've ever seen. Have you been to that church or Cathedral on top of the mountain with the huge statue of Jesus on the Cross on top? If not, you have to go. You have to take the cable car thingy up there and it is truly the best view of Barcelona, not to mention that the size of that Jesus is quite freaky. Also, I tought I told you about Catalan and that you were gonna have trouble with it. But what I find wierd is that you don't find the people friendly. I found them very nice and patient. Anyway, it looks like you're gonna come back in better shape then me from all that walking. Speaking of which, I'm fighting in a week and a half. I played hookie from work today hehehe, and finally had the chance to read my emails. Anyway, cuidate, que te lo pase bien, y escriba un dia solomente en espanol. Oh, and I miss my running/roler blading partner:-(
