Always Sunny in Seattle Great post bro...”I just wanted to point out the good side of rain because we’ve become so spoiled by it that we only see the negative side to it!” and that, everyone, is WHY people move to Seattle!! Who "appreciates" Seattle more than the people who willingly move here right? I guess it is us who are truly "enlightened" by this “heavenly gift” of constant rain!
Meditate on this though, which is more "precious": Rain or the opposite of rain, Sunshine? No Sun = no plants = no photosynthesis= no oxygen = no H20 = no water = no RAIN! Definitely agree with you though, Rain is definitely underrated, I mean, there's a whole religion based on Ra right?
Keep up the great blog posts bro, you inspire me to start my own!
Lagaan Lagaan is SUCH a good movie!!! Don't you remember watching that back in high school or something? I think it was freshman year! Anyway, that elephant is so cute. I want to feed him a peanut. Rain is definitely awesome. After living in Seattle, I've learned to appreciate that the beauty only comes out after the rain! We had this conversation before, remember!? :)
good catch! haha i'm glad somebody noticed that there was no picture of me for day 6! nothing gets past you, al! That was a very terrifying day and I plan on writing it into my blog by this week, a long story! enlightenment? not quite.. haha
Rae! Wowww! Yo read all my posts at one go?? That's so sweet of you to comment on all of them too! I like your inputs buddy. Tell me whats up with yo lately, gimme like a mini blog version, haha!
dried cow shit? you know they make paper (that is odorless) out of elephant dung. that alone convinced me that your dried cow shit probably has infinite possibilities of becoming something legit.
i wouldn't be able to think of a red elephant if i was tired. tell me if you found that true when you were meditating. that when you were tired ... you didnt really think? maybe im sound ignorant but honestly im just curious :)
you've been a lost Buddha for only a few days and i'm seeing that you are overcoming your fear. silence is usually something ppl fear most. its mysterious, lonely bc it could mean anything but it could mean nothing. ppl want meaning in their life and be able to make sense of it, or at the very least, for it to make no sense at all but mean something. by embracing silence and loving it - vic, that is pretty great.
More more! Already your giving me lily pads of thought to bounce off towards my own enlightenment. I agree with Maggie - more juice and less narration. Hopefully I can go on a journey like this and apply what your sharing to the journey.
How was the chicken - was it foodie worthy?
