Yay photos :) Although please include more of you looking suntanned and happy with nice scenery in the background, we like those as much as the ones of godsmacking scenery. If your aim is to make me jealous, congrats :) PS How big is that bat?!
I thought your middle name was Sarah, not Bryson ;) Very nice writing, although I'm not sure why it only appeared 4 days after you posted it (how do you break a blog?!). If nothing else, your keen sense of sarcasm is still intact. But if you expect me to believe that those blokes were less tidy than you, then maybe you've been out in the sun too long hehe.
Happy Valentine's Hurrah you have escaped - don't blame you for catching a flight!! Bet you're basking in glorious sun, sea and sand now. (Just to make you feel better - temperature here is extremely low - back in the winter woollies again!! - Bet Sheffield is even colder!)
Thanks for gorge pressies btw - tucked into chocs already and will probably have used all plasters in first aid kit b4 departure - you know what i'm like! Oh and Bon Jovi - ahhh well say no more - currently riveted to TV screen every evening (haha).
Have you bought any silly hats yet?! - expecting you to have a crocodile dundee type with corks at least by now (with meat loaf logo sewn on of course). Lol Samantha xx
Soon be Friday Yo Lizzie keep on keeping on although when I was last in Germany I could not say I saw many fat ones lol but I was at the world beach volley championships. So fat German blokes must be reserved for Australia and yourself. It is probably an tourist ploy a bit like the towels on the pool bed first thing in the morning. Ah brings back memories of Malaga again and floating turds in the sea. I cant wait to see your holiday snaps m8 shame you going to Sydney I heard most guys down there prefer the company of other young guys and the sound of the village People and Steps. Happy hunting and don't be fooled into paying a 100 bucks to walk on top of that bloody bridge lol.
Gosh!!!!!! I mean to see if I can print off your writing so I can read it in bed. I spend quite a lot of time there and it will be great to giggle at your humour and groan at your misadventures from the security of a warm dry bed. I hope a log moves for you but only at a reasonable distance. I keep remembering the floating hat in crocodile Dundee! Please photograph some pretty flowers or some dear little cuddly creature just so Ican see that you are not in constant danger of being bitten.
water wings You seem to be in the wet of it! Hope all is well and you get out ofm there soon. Just stay "cool" all will be right soon - it's the way in the states every disaster has a siler lining. If you want to see our RWT pics go to :-

enjoy your travelling
Graham and kathy
ps you might like to put your pics up as well on your own site - it's at no cost (1 gb with picasa)
Korea Just in case you meet anymore Koreans you liked the pork that we barbecued on the table. Wonderful writing. Mum thinks you should go and do English at UNI. Keep blogging. its great.
I wonder where Bruce was Hello there Young Lizzie I was wondering when Bruce would be along any vegan Sharks yet? did nae think so. Now Roy Scheider have passed away no one is safe from Jaws . Have fun don't hurry home it is still here lol
I thought you always listened to 'the voices' :) I know you're good at causing meterological disasters wherever you go, but to form your own island is an achievement even for yourself. It's a pain for you, but I can't help but be amused when I see on the news that one of the closed roads is called the 'Bruce Highway'! Never was there a more Australian road name :)
Niagara Hello!! Good to hear from you :) I shall remind you of your comparison to Niagara when we are standing above it!!! Haha! Sorry to hear about the flooding - at least there is a chance of it clearing up in those temperatures - so hopefully you will be on your way again soon. Can't wait for your next update!!
Anyway news from down under - I have been to London for wkend - caught up with various relatives and went to drool over Lee Mead in Joseph at the Aldphi Theatre. On the second row - glad to say it wasn't the front row - as actors have a habit of spitting when singing to improve their projection and I managed to avoid being showered (felt sorry for the orchestra though). It was fab!!!!
Oh and I am meeting Sarah for a pizza on Friday, so that we can discuss your exploits.... Take Care lol Samantha xx
You must be exhausted. You did everything in two days it took us a week to do. It sounds as if you are having a fantastic time and really appreciating all the different wild life Oz has to offer. Have you eaten kangaroo yet? Hope it dries out soon and well done for sticking up for yourself on the bus! Love Pamxx
Wow I can't quite believe that this is you writing all of this Lizzie, and experiencing all of this - its a million miles away from trudgine through Valley Park at school isn't it! A little disappointing that you've seen all of thse animals and haven't managed to get personal with a nice galah for me, but I've never seen a real bat and I guess it could be an interesting experience - perhaps they'd sense some kind of sensual kindred spirit in me? Feel free to moan about being moist, its your party after all, as they say.
Spooky I was moaning to Craig about a hour ago that it'd been about 5 days since your last update and I wanted to read one, and now here one is. I don't know whether to be disturbed or delighted, maybe you're more than just a pretty face ;) I suppose it was only a matter of time before you ran into the floods, although hopefully you won't get stuck for too long. Sounds like some of the water from Barron Gorge got places it shouldn't! I don't know if you're having any trouble uploading photos, but it's a bit cruel to describe all these fantastic views and not post any up hehe. Hopefully we'll get some soon. Good luck getting off your impromptu island!
Hi. I sent you a msg the other day, but it doesn't seem to have appeared on the blog. I know what you're saying - 'I'm not surprised!!! Typical!' Sounds like heaven so far - I bet time is going really fast. Spoke to weird Hungarian bloke at STA travel the other day about 'Beaver Fever Pass' it sounds bizarre!! Keep sending the updates - it makes the days go faster until I can come and join you. Take Care! lol Samantha xx
I think we need a bigger boat Well, no-one could claim you don't sound like you're enjoying yourself! It sounds positively thrilling, especially the whole shark experiences. You'll be happy to know that this morning is the first bit of sunshine I've seen all week, and even then, it's about 25C colder than where you are! And this is also about the extent of my free time in my overtime filled life right now :P But no matter, at least you're giving me exciting stuff to read! Looking forward to finding out where you end up next as it'll be the first time you go somewhere that isn't detailed on your itinerary :) Safe travels!
You lucky sod. Hi Lizzie. Just read the last two entries and fell about laughing. Still can't believe that you're there. Don't envy you the dive with thesharks, but then you've alway been slightly mad, must be all those years working in payroll. Think of us all while you're looking at all the hunks will you and send us some pictures to ogle. Take care of yourself. Love Nicola xxx
Sound you having a Fab Time I am so jealous you get a chance to swim with such interesting creatures if you went to Malaga you could swim with real poo and for less than half what your trip would cost lol. We miss you Lizzie but worry not the weather here will keep and so will Ant.
Keep blogging l8r non sk8r.
Cairns Hi Liz. Love the writings. Sounds like you are settling into things nicely. They are annoyingly fit, aren't they? People running to work, running home and engaging in something sweaty in between, whist gorging themselves on fruit and smoothies. They'll probably all get run over by a bus while running - much safer with chocolate and a good film indoors.
Most people we spoke to said Cairns itself was shit but you don't have to go far in any direction to be somewhere amazing. I'm sure you will fill us in with the details... ('we' didn't do a survey, I mean mom and I when we were there)
This blog thing's good, innit?
Don't drown.
Can you put pictures on this blog too? I think the demand for a photo of a fish living inside another fish's arse would be massive. I would imagine having to breath out of your arse would be annoying enough but having a fish in the way too would be a really unfortunate way to carry on.
Would it's fart be the same as a burp?
It has snowed since you left. Lightly - just enough to remind us that it's bloody freezing but not enough to look nice or have fun in. The rain has since washed all that away.
Have fun,
Tim
February 6th Pam You are brilliant at writing. Really enjoying reading all about your exploits. Very pleased the diving instructors are all 'fit' and intent on making sure you can breathe properly and recognise the good from the bad sea life. Looking forward to reading the next entry. Lots of love.
I love your writing style, it still hasn't changed, even though you're on the other side of the globe :) - Can't decide what is going to be more hazardous for you - swimming in Cairns sea or an average night out in Sheffield on a Friday night. Sure you'll have faced many more peryls during the latter, but all the same, be careful and enjoy yourself.
I'm guessing... ...I'm going to be the first to comment all the time aren't I? :) It's great to hear that you're getting on with the important task of having a good time, although I didn't really think you'd hang around with that! Please inform your instructor that drowning you will not please your friends back home. Hope you do some exciting stuff soon, poo fish and oiled up instructors can't be that exciting, can they?
At least you got the entertainment Good to hear you got good entertainment on your flights - we just got back from RTW trip and got NOTHING on 3 of the 4 long hauls. nought out of ten for Quantas and BA. Enjoy your travelling and take care.
