Salivating...
You definitely are a fantastic foody writer! Not much of a meat eater, I still was dying for the incredible treats you described! Salivating so much, I must leave to make some veggie soup--you've made me mighty hungry! Great blog! Incidentally, the Koreans I've met here in Peru assure me that they don't take seriously the nonsense that's more between North K and the US.

One day, maybe...
I've never been to Korea, nor have I tried their food (although I nearly did at a little restaurant on Lal Ghat in Udaipur, India just a couple of months ago!). Your descriptions and pictures make it look almost good enough to eat!!

Food for the Soul
Another great feast from Travelblog's food reviewer!

food coma indeed!
This is one of the best ads for Seoul. It all looks and sounds so utterly delicious, but the ginseng chicken really caught my attention!

How long where you there?
I lived in Korea a few times and you seem to know more about the food than I do...and you probably ate more:-)

Don't mess with T-Rex!
I wish they would protest these valuable pieces a bit better. As you say lots of places to dig for treasures in Mongolia. So many places and so little time.

More expeditions soon, I bet
I bet more Indiana Jones wannabes will be on their way to feel the dusts of Mongolia!

Beautiful Place to stay
This place is truly beautiful, I will really find time to stay here on my next visit, I salute to the owner for their love of culture and heritage, it is fascinating to know that there are people who loves to preserve the past for our future generation. Mabuhay!!!

Dinosaur bones--not really
In the US and Europe, the dino skeletons displayed are only plaster casts since the real bones are considered too valuable, but I'm not sure about Mongolia with that snow leopard skin ger, etc. Palace and monastery were gorgeous--how lucky you're seeing this amazing place before it becomes more apartmentalized.

I know....
Can't believe it myself that these items are on display without a casing, and many times without guards watching! Mongolia is fast changing and I'm glad we went when we did.

Never Too Old To Goof Around

I love the mans costume!
This is in my list of places to go before I die and after Ive paid off my credit cards. Probably wont be able to visit a ger though coz I dont want to offend the owners when I tell them I'm vegetarian.

Never Too Old To Goof Around

Advance notice
For vegetarians, you can tell your guide so they'd prepare more bread and cole slaw! But frankly, so much meat in Mongolia!

Just checked back in
3 and a half months back home so I checked back in to see what's happening and up pops your blog on Mongolia. We are thinking of heading over that way next year so I will keep my eyes on your blog. Enjoy.

Have more adventure....
They say we should have tried living in a ger, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't feel comfortable in one. I'm too old with set ways and that was a problem. In your case, go have that adventure!

Nothing holds you back
Mongolia has been on my short list for some time but Dave is not as excited. I'm sure he will be after reading this. Thanks! You are out there doing it. So great to enjoy the experience with your friends. Those dumplings look great.

Mixed feelings about Mongolia....
I'm glad we went, yet at the same I wonder if it were better to have waited.... when they're more ready for visitors. Then again, I think it's good we went before things would have changed. I'm telling ya.... I'm confused.
