carved wood penis/phallus used in temple rituals and at festivals
yes, I know they are everywhere for sale in Bhutan, but I am not in Bhutan now, not planning on returning soon.. I bought one when I was there, but someone stole it. I want to buy another. Do you know a vendor who will sell me one or two and ship it to me in the states?

Yeah it's the typhoon season but we purchased the plane tickets through a promo. Since it's the offseason, we really bought them cheap. Hopefully the trip ends well. :) And yes, it will be my first time there.

I remember a while back you told me you hadn't been everywhere in the Philippines, and Batanes was the place you gave as an example. Glad you finally made it. It seems as uncharacteristic as the rest of the islands to make it a worthwhile journey, I'm sure. But I digress..."camwhore!" Never heard that expression before! love it. Details please.

Retired early, but still active. Very involved in celebrating life! I love traveling because I always come back with less cobwebs in my mind. It is as if I empty my mind of all clutter upon departure, and fill it with many happy memories upon arrival. I also like the idea that life is so focused on the present, and my senses are all playing to listen, feel , see, smell and taste everything novel or not so new. The fact that I only have to choose from a limited wardrobe, or use the same pair of shoes throughout my holiday , or work and survive on a single budget make life so much simpler. ... full info
