Geo: 18.2866, -65.6363We stayed in Great Harbour JVD, on our last night in the British Virgin Islands. Visited Foxy's one last time for a delicious Roti, and then we were off the next morning, stopping in Culebra, Spanish Virgin Islands, for two days, with a final destination of mainland Puerto Rico. There were large beds of seaweed on our trip to Culebra. Enough so that it all bunched up in our prop. As we were motoring, we noticed that our speed was diminishing. At times we slow down because of current but this was too much! We drifted to a stop, and shifted the boat back and forth from reverse to neutral. Clumps and clumps of seaweed ejected from the prop. After a few minutes we appeared to be free of seaweed. We put the boat ... read more

Geo: 18.461, -64.5253We stayed in the BVI a little while longer than planned especially so that I could attend the first annual Women Who Sail Rendezvous. We met up with the group at Marina Cay. Well protected, yet unpopular, this was a refreshing change from the busy anchorages and mooring fields throughout the rest of the BVI.... read more

Geo: 18.4498, -64.725In our attempt to find an anchorage, rather than a mooring field, we spent much of our time between Cane Garden Bay, Tortola, and Diamond Cay, Jost Van Dyke. We spent many days at the beach in CGB and at Diamond Cay we enjoyed hiking to the jacuzzi pool. It was a very dry spring with a lot of Sahara Sand in the atmosphere. Enjoyed so many lazy, hazy days in the BVI. May 9th, 2015 - Enjoying the BVI!Hello all,From Culebra, PR, we moved through washing-machine-like seas to St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands. (That was a miserable four hour sail.) There, we staged ourselves in Brewer's Bay, near the airport, for a week, in anticipation of Tony's BFF arriving in a week.We are now in the British Virgin Islands. We've been here ... read more
