Gallipoli
We held our breath waiting for the next instalment realising you needed to recover after a marathon time leading up to & after the 6-00 am ceremony.Yes Prince Harry no doubt helped the time pass & no doubt the sun rising on the shores provided a special moment of reflection on what the feelings of our Grandfather/Father may have been prior to the landing.I am sure when you return there will be memories indelibly imprinted on your minds.A definite once in a lifetime experience.Safe journey & look forward to hearing first hand of your unforgettable trip.

Before hitting London and events planned there. Who will you meet there ? Enjoy your stay and know we are all fine here at home. Love , kisses, and licks xxxxxx

Hello from Canberra ...
Dear Jan and Mabel, to read your blog and see your photos of this memorable event (especially a certain three photos) was fabulous. What an experience...well deserving of a restful break before hitting the streets of London. Maybe some other VIPs will get to meet you there?! We too had quite a weekend, being part of the 120,000+ people at the Dawn Service, being at the March (with special acknowledgement to Ross), watching the Gallipoli Dawn Service and then watching you two on TV at the Lone Pine ceremony. Then there was the fun and french champagne (I'm sure we had one or two for you). We sent Lynne and Ross safely back home ...you take care, rest up and keep having fun, love us xxx

Crying over my toast at the moving blog you have produced. Trials, tribulations, long waits and discomfort. Both the ANZACS and Grandmas in Gallipoli! So glad you have shared them all with us. XX

Wonderful description of 25th April!
I feel privileged that I received this Blog. Thank you very much. What a wonderful experience for you to have with your mother. I can understand your emotions and your feelings - I would have been the same, but you describe it beautifully. Have a great stay, and a rest in Devon with Peter and Pauline. love Sue and Richard

Mixing it with the common folk.
Nice to see that the dignitaries were able to meet you on such an auspicious occasion. Thought that you might have given the body guard the day off but I did spot her in the black beenie and dark shades whilst viewing the Lone Pine ceremony. Not very conspicuous. I also had an emotional experience at the Dawn Service in Canberra at the War Memorial and marching with the 460, 463 & 467 Squadrons passed the GG General Cosgrove. Massive crowd of over 120000. Very moving. Enjoy you well earnt rest. Safe trip. Love to all. xxx

We have been out of mobile and internet contact for the past 6 days. So have read all your entries at once on our return. What a week you have had! Memories to last a lifetime and to enter the annals of family history...We listened to the Dawn service from Anzac Cove on car radio in pouring rain. You were uppermost in our minds. Much love Susan ,Kevin and Family
